Norgaard is a 1990 graduate of The University of Chicago Law School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from The University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign where he graduated in 1987 with Highest Honors and passed the CPA exam. Prior to beginning his own practice in 1994, Steve practiced law at McDermott Will & Emery in Chicago. His practice concentration is in residential/commercial real estate transactions and development and estate planning. Steve is currently a member of the American Bar Association (Real Property and Probate Section), Illinois State Bar Association (Real Estate and Trusts and Estates Sections) and the Dupage County Bar Association (past chairman of the Estate Planning Committee). He is a frequent speaker at Chicago area conferences and seminars.
