Steven K. Norgaard is a 1990 graduate of The University of Chicago Law School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from The University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign where he graduated in 1987 with highest honors and passed the CPA exam.

 

Prior to beginning his own practice in 1994, Steve practiced law at McDermott Will & Emery in Chicago. He has extensive experience counseling individuals, business owners, management, boards and trustees on acquisitions, divestitures, and compliance and entity structuring.

 

Steve serves on a number of boards and is currently the lead independent director of Frontier Funds, a family of institutional open-end mutual funds, the SRH Total Return Fund, a closed-end mutual fund, where he is the audit committee chair, and Elevation Series Trust, an investment trust for exchange traded funds. He was a long-time director and chairman of Attorneys’ Title Guaranty Fund, Inc., a lawyer centric title insurance company. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, ATG Trust Company Audit and Trust/Investment Committees, and the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association.
